WATER USE REMINDER 

As hot and dry weather conditions are now prevailing, please ensure that
your water usage is appropriate at all times, particularly if you a recent new resident.

Key water conservation tips:

* Water before 10am or after 8pm so that water will soak into soil rather than evaporate.
* If you use an automatic sprinkler system, set it to water in early mornings or evenings, 
and only long enough to soak the roots of plants. 

* If there are small areas of your lawn or garden that dry out more quickly, 
spot water with a hose or watering can, and not a sprinkler.

* Water slowly for better absorption.
* Use a rain barrel whenever possible.
* Avoid watering on windy days.
* Talk to your neighbours about conserving water.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY

Please be aware that a Boil Water Advisory is still in effect.
MWD is under this instruction from Interior Health.
Until the notice is rescinded, all users are advised to boil water before using it for drinking, making ice, cooking, washing food or brushing teeth. It is recommended to either bring water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute, or use an alternate, safe source of water.
